About Marnie Makes

I’m Marnie, an artist and illustrator (with a background in theatre design) based in Worcestershire. My work tends to be a whimsical combination of adorable characters, intricate details, and magical settings, and I’m very much inspired by nature and the natural world. I adore colour and would describe my work as vibrant, playful, and happy.

I specialise in creating beautiful, highly detailed art and privately commissioned bespoke pieces, mainly created by hand using a variety of mediums, but also love to work digitally too. I’ve taken part in quite a few Wild in Art trails, my first in 2018 for Worcester stands tall, caught the sculpture bug immediately, and am heading towards my 20th sculpture.

Being a part of these projects are an absolute joy from start to finish . but I always look forward to seeing my sculpture out on the streets making people smile!

If I had to describe my sculpture in 3 words I’d say : ‘sweet’, ‘juicy’, and ‘delicious’!
